She keeps pointedly not-looking at me when I call her name.

I woke up this morning, dutifully fed my cats as they had gathered round out bed and were likely staring at us as we slept, which is a teeny bit creepy. I promptly returned to bed, since it’s Saturday morning and I’m not working, to doze off again.
I woke a short while later to find my smaller cat had wedged herself between my boyfriend and I, under our duvet, and was quite contentedly purring away.
I feel we’ve become one of those couples that lets their kids sleep in the bed to stop them crying. That it’s happening to us with our cats is perhaps more a foreboding of impending middle-age…..

Apparently I’m going to look like Peter Cushing when I’m older.
Or in the next 5-7 years…..

Now it’s ‘Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires’.
There are fake bats on strings and a lot of bad dramatic music.

Tonight my hungover boyfriend’s choice of viewing was the Hammer Horror film, ‘Robo Geisha’.

It’s the condescending tone of Siri’s voice when it says these things that really gets to me….
